Job summary

UAB Medicine is seeking an IT Support Technician to provide accurate, timely end-user computer and networking problem resolution. The role involves remote and onsite support for onsite campuses, imaging devices, and configuring PCs and printers to keep users productive.

Qualifications include an Associate's degree in Information Systems and at least one year of related experience. The team is part of HSIS, supporting a large health system and multiple facilities with strong learning

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Information Systems or a related field.
• 1 year of related experience required; work experience may substitute education.
• Experience with end-user computing and basic networking concepts preferred.

Responsibilities

• Resolve open incidents and requests within the required SLA.
• Perform device imaging and configure laptops, desktops, and printers.
• Install, configure and upgrade applications and peripherals.
• Move, add or replace workstations and other equipment; provide onsite/remote support.
• Respond to inquiries and document issues in the tracking system.
