You will monitor vulnerability results, assist with risk assessments, and manage host-based security tools while collaborating with engineers and management to meet regulatory standards. This is a 24/7 environment requiring after-hours support.

Qualifikationen

• 3–4 years hands-on experience with security solutions (firewalls, IPS/IDS, SIEM, endpoint protection, MFA).
• 3–4 years experience enforcing security policies and controls to safeguard data and systems.
• 2 years working knowledge of TCP/IP networking, Windows Server, and Linux.
• 1 year experience with Azure and/or AWS cloud security.
• Healthcare/regulatory environment experience is preferred.

Aufgaben

• Monitor, analyze, and triage vulnerability scan results and verify remediation closure.
• Assist senior engineers with network security risk assessments and document findings.
• Administer and monitor host-based security solutions across the organization.
• Respond to security alerts and perform first-line triage; implement preventative controls.
• Enforce computer and network security policies and change-management processes.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to document security requirements for new systems.
• Monitor and troubleshoot firewalls and supporting security infrastructure for uptime.
• Support design, testing, and deployment of security infrastructure changes.
• Maintain and update incident reports, runbooks, asset inventories, and baselines.
• Participate in after-hours maintenance and incident response as needed.
