Job summary

UCI Health in Orange, CA is seeking a senior Network Security Analyst to design, implement, and operate the network security posture across the health system. You will serve as the SME for perimeter security, NAC, segmentation, and network‑layer compliance in a complex academic medical center environment.

The role requires deep hands‑on experience with NGFWs (Palo Alto, Cisco FTD), cloud security, and NIST/HIPAA controls, plus collaboration with clinical and IT teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive network security experience, preferably in healthcare or regulated environments.
• Strong knowledge of network segmentation, firewall zoning, and SDA concepts.
• Experience with NIST Cybersecurity Framework, 800-53, 800-82, and Zero Trust architectures.
• Experience managing enterprise NGFWs (Palo Alto, Cisco Firepower/FTD).
• Advanced understanding of HIPAA Security Rule and related policies.
