Job summary

Hunterdon Health is seeking a network engineer to maintain the hospital's local voice, data, video and wireless network services, and to manage configurations, troubleshoot issues, audit IP addresses, and document standards.

The role emphasizes security of the network infrastructure, collaboration across IS teams, and support for Cisco Unified Communications. Relevant experience and certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 3 years of network experience required.
• Preferred: Network+, CCNA certifications.
• Strong TCP/IP networking and troubleshooting skills.
• OSI model familiarity and Cisco UCC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and maintain HHS network infrastructure (WAN, LAN, VOIP, Wi-Fi).
• Assist in implementing IT security technology.
• Support Enterprise Firewall, content filer and VPN infrastructure.
• Maintain accurate network documentation.
• Collaborate with IS department teams.
• Provide maintenance and troubleshooting of Cisco UCC.
• Other duties as assigned.
