Job summary

Quest Analytics is seeking a Data Analyst to enhance provider network analytics using large-scale healthcare datasets. You will uncover trends, measure performance, and drive data-driven strategies for network optimization.

You will work with SQL, Databricks, Python and BI tools, conduct data investigations, ensure data quality, and collaborate with Product, Engineering, Operations and Client Services to implement scalable analytics solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of data analysis in healthcare, SaaS, or data-intensive environments.
• Experience with large, complex datasets and in-depth data investigations.
• Experience supporting product development, data quality initiatives, or analytics-driven decisions.
• Proficient in SQL (intermediate-advanced) for data extraction, transformation, analysis.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks/Spark or similar distributed processing tools.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, R, Scala, or Java.
• Experience with BI/visualization tools like Looker or similar.
• Experience leveraging AI tools (e.g., Claude) to support analysis and automation.
• Ability to apply AI-assisted approaches to investigations and reporting.
• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and analytics applications.
• Strong data management knowledge: quality, governance, stewardship.
• Experience defining metrics, KPIs, and data models for business needs.
• Curiosity, adaptability, and continuous learning with evolving tech.

Responsibilities

• Conduct advanced data analysis on complex healthcare-related datasets to identify trends and deliver actionable insights.
• Analyze provider and organizational data to resolve entity matching across sources and define data relationships.
• Lead data investigations to resolve quality issues and support business initiatives.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Operations, and Client Services to develop data solutions.
• Utilize SQL, Databricks, Python and AI tools to maintain data governance and high-quality assets.
• Document and track project work in systems like DevOps.
• Identify improvements to outreach strategies and data processes based on insights.
