Job summary

Quest Analytics is seeking a Data Analyst to advance provider network analytics by analyzing large healthcare datasets, including claims and directory files. You will quantify network performance, uncover trends, and drive data-driven strategies for optimization, partnering with Product, Engineering, and Client Services.

The role requires 3+ years of data analysis experience, strong SQL and Databricks skills, and proficiency in Python and BI tools like Looker.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in data analytics, CS, engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of data analysis experience, preferably in healthcare, SaaS, or data-intensive environments.
• Proven experience with large, complex datasets and in-depth data investigations.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks, Spark, or similar distributed data processing tools.
• Programming languages such as Python, SQL, R, Scala, or Java.
• Experience with BI and data visualization tools (e.g., Looker).
• Experience leveraging AI tools (Claude or similar) to support data analysis and automation.
• Knowledge of data governance, quality, and KPIs; ability to define metrics and data models.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to present complex findings clearly.

Responsibilities

• Conduct advanced data analysis on complex datasets to identify trends and deliver actionable insights.
• Translate analytical findings into clear insights and recommendations for internal stakeholders.
• Analyze provider and organizational data to resolve entity matching and define data relationships.
• Lead data investigations to resolve data quality issues and support business initiatives.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Operations, and Client Services to develop data solutions.
• Use SQL, Databricks, Python, and AI tools to process and analyze large datasets.
• Develop metrics, KPIs, and analytical frameworks to support Quest products.
• Document and track project work in systems like DevOps.
