Job summary

Licking Memorial Health Systems (LMHS) is seeking a Network Administrator in Information Systems to install and support LAN/WAN, wired and wireless, monitor security, maintain firewalls, VPNs, and DR planning.

You will work with the IS team and vendors to ensure high availability, troubleshoot infrastructure issues, maintain inventories, and support VOIP. Must live within 45 minutes of Newark, OH; associate degree or higher and 4+ years IT experience.

Qualifications

Must live within 45 minutes for urgent networking issues.
4+ years IT support experience.
Ability to fix moderate to complex hardware and software issues.
Experience with network infrastructure and security.
Knowledge of firewalls and VPNs.
Good written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

Worksprimarily within the Information Systems Department and with vendors.
Occasionally collaborates with other LMHS departments, physicians, or leadership.
Assists physicians and external customers.
Reads, understands, and conveys complex instructions to plan and perform duties.
Integrates data from diverse sources to diagnose and resolve IS and communications problems.
Meets deadlines, plans effectively, and follows up with customers promptly.
Strong verbal and written communication.
