Job summary

WSP is seeking an MEP Project Manager - Healthcare Sector Lead in Houston, TX to spearhead growth in the healthcare market and manage complex projects. You will develop new client relationships while leading multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.

The role blends business development with project execution, balancing responsibilities to expand WSP's footprint in the region. A PE or similar license and extensive healthcare experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Architecture, Architectural Engineering, or related field.
• 12+ years of experience in Healthcare focusing on Engineering Management, Business Development, and Operations.
• Professional Engineering or Architectural license required.
• Healthcare consulting experience.
• Extensive knowledge of Mechanical or Electrical design in Healthcare.
• Ability to coordinate and direct others to complete tasks safely.
• Experience with renovation, new design, and construction management.
• Knowledge of relevant laws, codes, and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop new clients and projects in Healthcare sector.
• Lead project teams to deliver projects and grow client relationships.
• Balance business development and project workload (initially 25/75).
• Represent the firm in the healthcare market through events and associations.
• Coordinate with regional leaders to drive growth and project performance.
