Job summary

UHA in Honolulu, HI is seeking a Customer Services Representative I to be the primary contact for members, providers, and clients. You will handle questions about eligibility, benefits, enrollment, claims, and prior authorizations, delivering accurate information in a fast-paced call center.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Healthcare customer service experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with questions regarding eligibility, enrollment, benefits, coverage, claims, and provider services.
• Provide professional, compassionate service to members, providers, and prospective clients by phone.
• Accurately document customer interactions and follow established call center procedures.
• Research inquiries using UHA systems and resources to provide timely and accurate information.
• Resolve routine customer concerns and appropriately elevate more complex issues.
• Collaborate with other UHA departments to ensure members and providers receive appropriate assistance.
