Apogee Consulting Group is seeking a motivated Mechanical Engineer to design and coordinate building systems, prepare construction documents, and serve as engineer of record for projects in the healthcare sector. You will mentor designers, perform load calculations, and ensure code-compliant, constructible solutions.

The role requires a PE license, a bachelor's degree in engineering, and minimum four years of related experience. Travel up to 20% is possible, with relocation assistance available.

Formación

• Licensed professional engineer with a relevant bachelor's degree.
• Minimum four years of related experience as a licensed professional.
• Healthcare design experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Design mechanical building systems (HVAC, ductwork, hydronic piping, controls).
• Serve as Engineer of Record for assigned projects and prepare docs.
• Direct and mentor designers in mechanical system development.
• Perform engineering calculations and load analyses.
• Develop construction drawings, details, specifications, and deliverables.
• Coordinate systems with architecture, structure, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection.
• Ensure compliance with ASHRAE and NFPA codes; conduct field visits.
• Conduct life-cycle cost analyses and support design decisions.
• Review data submittals, respond to RFIs, and provide construction-period services.
• Guide junior staff and ensure conformance to design documents.
