Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (ABET-accredited) is required.
• Current PE license is required and NCEES registration.
• Licensed in at least one U.S. state with ability to obtain additional state licenses.
• LEED, Green Globes, or other sustainability credentials are preferred.
• Healthcare design experience is required.
• Minimum 8 years of related experience as a licensed professional.

Aufgaben

• Designs electrical systems for healthcare, commercial, municipal, and office buildings with backup power systems.
• Directs designers in creating building designs and ensures conformance to specifications.
• Directs activities to ensure that construction, installation, and testing conform to requirements.
• Uses computer-assisted engineering and design software to perform tasks.
• Designs the modeling and analysis of power distribution, life safety systems, lighting control, and coordination with other design professionals.
• Follows NEC/NFPA70 and related standards; maintains code compliance.
• Travel up to 20% depending on project.
• Develops construction documents and specifications.
• Serves as Engineer of Record with mentoring responsibilities.
