Job summary

Apogee Consulting Group is seeking an Electrical Designer to design and coordinate building electrical systems for healthcare projects. You will prepare construction drawings, perform field investigations, and support delivery from concept through construction.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in electrical/technology design, proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD MEP, and a bachelor’s degree in engineering. FE/PE licensure is preferred, with travel up to 20%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in engineering.
• Minimum four years of progressive electrical and/or technology design experience.
• FE exam and working toward PE licensure preferred.
• LEED, RCDD, CEM, LC, or other professional certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist electrical engineers and designers in developing building electrical and technology system designs.
• Design and produce construction drawings for power distribution, lighting, grounding, and low-voltage systems.
• Produce detailed construction plans and schematics via computer-aided software.
• Familiar with NEC and NFPA standards; perform field investigations and site visits.
• Coordinate with other disciplines and ensure high Revit proficiency.
• Review product data submittals and provide construction period services.
