Job summary

UW Medical Center-Montlake is seeking a Supply Chain Technician 1 to support the distribution of general, medical, and surgical supplies across the hospital. This day shift, per diem, temporary position is expected to last about 12 months and offers comprehensive benefits.

You will use handheld scanners and MMIS to manage inventory, assist with rental equipment, and ensure accurate cost allocations through the MMIS system.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in healthcare supply chain or inventory is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining adequate stock and distributing general, medical, and surgical supplies and equipment throughout the hospital.
• Manage rental equipment using Supply Chain point-of-use (POU) systems.
• Use handhelds, scanners, and MMIS to ensure proper inventory and cost allocations.
