Job summary

Carilion Clinic Roanoke seeks a Materials Management Site Lead to coordinate daily warehouse and distribution operations, ensuring safe, accurate, and timely movement of supplies across the system.

You will lead staffing, optimize routes, monitor KPIs, and maintain inventory accuracy while supporting staff development and regulatory compliance. This role requires a strong leader with hands-on experience in materials management.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years in supply chain, materials management, or related operational environment.
• Valid VA Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates daily warehouse, receiving, shipping, dock, dispatch, and distribution operations for timely, accurate delivery of supplies.
• Develops daily operational plans, routes, dock schedules, and staffing assignments based on workload and service levels.
• Leads dispatch and dock operations and communicates with internal departments, customers, vendors, and transportation personnel.
• Monitors productivity and performance metrics, adjusting as needed to meet goals.
• Oversees receiving, stocking, issuing, distributing, shipping, and inventory control with proper documentation.
