Job summary

Freeman Health System is seeking a Materials Management professional to support hospital operations by optimizing supply chains, inventory, and purchasing across multiple sites.

You will lead logistics planning, coordinate conversions, and work closely with nursing, surgery, and ancillary departments to ensure timely delivery of clinical supplies.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 years clinical acute care experience, and a nursing degree or related management background.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of clinical experience in acute care settings (ICU/ED/Med‑Surg).
• Bachelor's degree in nursing or related clinical/management field preferred.
• Familiarity with supply chain concepts and hospital operations.

Responsibilities

• Solicits clinical supply bids and helps develop implementation strategies for approved supply changes.
• Enhances product workflow with logistics plans for evaluations and conversions affecting system-wide operations.
• Coordinates supply conversion and inventory management with Purchasing and Central Supply.
• Applies Materials Management concepts to support patient care and cost control.
• Reports to the Supply Chain Operations Manager and contributes creatively to goals.
