Qualifications

  • Associate degree in business or procurement or equivalent experience.
  • 2 years’ experience in a Healthcare Clinical area or materials management.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with commonly used office software and ability to learn new systems.
  • Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card at time of hire.
  • Arizona Criminal History Affidavit required.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate procurement, receipt, distribution and inventory management for the Clinical Procedure area.
  • Receive requests for special order supplies and procure them for the correct patient, procedure, date and time.
  • Maintain inventory levels, monitor shelf life and rotate stock to avoid expiration.
  • Assess upcoming schedules and plan future supply needs; assist after hours as needed.
  • Promote cost containment and vendor comparisons; participate in product evaluations.
  • Use MMIS for ordering, tracking and usage reporting; assist with pricing support.
