Job summary

Willow Ridge Rehabilitation in Morganton, NC, is seeking a Healthcare Marketing Director to lead our marketing, community outreach, referral development, and census growth initiatives!

You will build lasting partnerships with hospitals, physicians, discharge planners, and senior care networks while guiding digital marketing, social media, and admissions collaboration to drive facility occupancy and residents' well-being.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 3+ years in healthcare marketing, business development, admissions, or related roles.
• Proven ability to build referral relationships and drive census growth.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare referral networks and discharge planning.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic marketing and business development initiatives to increase referrals, admissions, and facility occupancy.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, physicians, discharge planners, case managers, social workers, assisted living communities, and other healthcare referral sources.
• Drive census growth through proactive outreach, relationship development, and strategic referral partnerships.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand the facility's presence within the local healthcare community.
• Coordinate facility tours, networking events, professional meetings, and community outreach activities.
• Collaborate closely with the Admissions Director, Administrator, and interdisciplinary leadership team to support admissions and occupancy goals.
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing referral partners while developing new sources of referrals.
• Manage and support the facility's social media presence, website content, online reputation, and digital marketing initiatives.
• Monitor and analyze referral trends, occupancy reports, and marketing performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Represent Willow Ridge Rehabilitation at community events, healthcare organizations, and professional networking functions.
• Assist with planning facility events, educational programs, and community partnerships.
• Ensure marketing and referral development activities comply with applicable CMS, state, federal, and company regulations.

Position Overview

As the Healthcare Marketing Director, you will play an essential role in strengthening Willow Ridge Rehabilitation's presence throughout the healthcare community while developing strategic partnerships that support admissions and census growth.

You will work closely with hospitals, physicians, discharge planners, case managers, social workers, assisted living communities, home health agencies, hospice providers, and other referral partners to build lasting professional relationships.

This position combines healthcare marketing, outside sales, relationship management, community outreach, admissions collaboration, and strategic business development into one rewarding leadership opportunity.

• Demonstrated ability to develop referral relationships and support admissions and census growth.
• Strong understanding of healthcare referral networks, hospital discharge planning, and post-acute care services.
• Excellent communication, networking, relationship-building, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working independently while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.
• Experience with social media, digital marketing, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office preferred.
• Professional demeanor and commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
