Job summary

Otterbein SeniorLife in Sidney, OH seeks a Maintenance Tech to provide a safe, comfortable environment for residents. You will perform general maintenance tasks including repairs, plumbing, electrical and carpentry, and assist with moving furnishings.

Starting pay is $18.00 per hour with up to 32 hours per week (8a–4p) and will reduce over time. Valid Ohio driver’s license, HVAC/electrical experience, and healthcare maintenance exposure are preferred.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
Must have a valid Ohio driver's license and be insurable.
HVAC and electrical experience; health care facility maintenance preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintains a comfortable, safe and secure environment for residents, families, visitors and partners.
Performs general maintenance tasks including repairs, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, etc.
Assists with moving residents’ furnishings as needed.
Paints residents' living quarters as needed.
Assists with ongoing preventive maintenance and equipment operation.
Maintains documentation of safety and maintenance records.
Assists with transportation tasks as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned.
