Job summary

Otterbein SeniorLife is seeking a Full-Time Maintenance Tech on our campus to keep a safe, comfortable environment for residents, families and staff. You will perform general repairs across painting, plumbing, electrical, carpentry and related tasks, and assist with scheduled transportation.

Responsibilities include supporting fire safety documentation, maintaining equipment, and assisting with resident moving and daily operations, while upholding resident rights and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Holds a valid Ohio driver's license.
• General maintenance experience: electrical, plumbing and carpentry; HVAC, mower/vehicle experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a safe and secure environment for residents, families, visitors and staff.
• Performs general maintenance tasks (painting, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, etc.).
• Assists with moving residents' furnishings as needed.
• Paints residents' living quarters as needed.
• Maintains preventative maintenance records and fire safety documentation.
• Assists with transportation duties as needed.
• Adheres to policies and maintains resident rights and confidentiality.
