Otterbein SeniorLife in Ohio is seeking a Full-Time Maintenance Tech to support a safe, well-maintained campus for residents, guests, and staff. Responsibilities include general repairs, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and assisting with transportation as needed.

The role emphasizes team collaboration, resident-centered care, and adherence to safety and documentation practices. Shift is primarily Monday–Friday with rotating on-call.

Qualifications

• General maintenance experience in electrical, plumbing and carpentry.
• Mechanical experience on HVAC systems, mowers and vehicles.
• Education requirement: high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a comfortable, safe and secure environment for residents, families, visitors and partners.
• Performs general maintenance tasks, including repairs, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, etc.
• Assists with moving residents’ furnishings as needed.
• Paints residents' living quarters as needed.
• Assists with ongoing preventative maintenance program and equipment documentation.
• Assists with transportation tasks as needed.
• Interacts positively with residents, family members, guests and personnel.
• Follows policies and coordinates with team members.
