Job summary

Dublin Post Acute seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to plan, organize, develop, and direct the Maintenance Department in a compliant, safe, and efficient manner. The role coordinates with Dietary, Nursing, Activities, and other departments to maintain a safe environment.

The supervisor will lead safety and fire protection programs, ensure proper labeling of hazardous materials, and supervise vendors while maintaining quality control and cost effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Must have minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in a maintenance/plant setting.
• Knowledge of boilers, compressors, generators and related mechanical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and building codes.
• Must be licensed in accordance with applicable standards and laws.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, develop and direct the Maintenance Department operations.
• Ensure maintenance schedules are followed and procedures are documented.
• Coordinate services with other departments and supervise external vendors.
• Maintain safety, infection control, and universal precautions in the shop.
• Inspect facilities, manage budget planning, and report expenditures.
