Job summary

Pine Acres Rehabilitation & Care Center is seeking a Maintenance Director to assist with general maintenance tasks in a health care facility while ensuring Life Safety Code compliance and a safe environment for residents.

The role covers painting, floor care, equipment repairs, plumbing and electrical work, and participation in disaster and safety plans. On-call duties and collaboration with staff are essential to support rehabilitation and growth.

Qualifications

Able to perform general maintenance in areas of plumbing, electrical, equipment repair, painting.
Follows safety procedures and maintains a safe environment for residents.
Demonstrates knowledge of life safety code and disaster planning basics.
Requires good judgment, reliability, and ability to handle emergencies.
Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and communicate with staff.

Responsibilities

Performs general maintenance within the facility and grounds, such as painting, floor care, general upkeep, equipment repairs, plumbing, electrical.
Assists with special projects as directed by the Administrator.
Requires to be on-call.
Ensures a safe environment and reports unsafe conditions promptly.
Addresses accidents or emergencies and participates in life safety procedures.
