Arbor Lake Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a Maintenance Director experienced in life safety inspections, HVAC, and regular maintenance. You will supervise the maintenance team to ensure regulatory compliance and a clean, safe environment while coordinating with clinical staff.

Qualifications

• High School diploma is required.
• 1-2 years supervisory experience in a commercial setting with laundry/housekeeping/maintenance knowledge.
• Minimum of 2 years work experience in long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises Environmental Services staff and daily work in assigned areas, balancing service levels with budgets and interdepartmental coordination.
• Executes preventive maintenance program and records to maintain high physical function of the center.
• Maintains center profile/history with documentation of maintenance activities and parts used; keeps fuel records.
• Performs routine maintenance and repairs in accordance with federal/state/local codes and regulations.
• Coordinates with residents, nurses, physicians and staff on environmental services requests and infection prevention; provides timely follow-up.
• Maintains electrical and mechanical equipment; lubricates and services devices; reports serious failures to the Administrator.
