Job summary

EyeSouth Partners is seeking an M&A and Business Development Associate in Atlanta to support add-on growth, analytics, and due diligence. You’ll work on deal screening, modeling, and post-close integration with the BD team.

The role reports to the Vice President of Business Development & Strategy and collaborates with executives on pipeline development, memorandums, and presentations for the Board.

Qualifications

• Finance, accounting, valuation and business strategy background.
• Strong desire to learn the deal process from screening to close.
• Impressive work ethic and desire to grow in a high-functioning team.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

• Participate as a member of EyeSouth’s M&A and Business Development team.
• Support the execution of acquisition process from opportunity screening to closing.
• Lead deal-related analysis, including financial modeling and due diligence.
• Manage financial due diligence and support negotiations; interact with lenders.
• Develop investment memorandums and present rationale to senior management.
• Track pipeline of acquisition targets and summarize for executives.
• Assist in post-close integration of new affiliations and organic growth.
• Prepare presentation materials for Board meetings.
• Support operational and departmental excellence and maintain ethical conduct.
• Must reside in Atlanta.
