Job summary

Encore Management Group, based in St. Louis, Missouri, seeks an M&A Analyst for LiveWell Partners to support acquisition and integration from initial valuation through post-close integration.

You will build valuation models, prepare diligence analyses, and produce the underlying work product informing deal decisions. The role collaborates with Business Development, Operations, Marketing, Finance, People & Culture, and IT teams, plus external consultants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in finance, accounting, economics or related field.
• Demonstrated self-direction with problem-solving and independent learning.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to synthesize financial data for deal work.

Responsibilities

• Support the full acquisition and integration process, preparing analyses, schedules, and materials for deal closure.
• Build and maintain valuation models for targets using historical and forecasted financial data.
• Own assigned workstreams end to end, tracking open items and driving questions to resolution.
• Identify and quantify synergy opportunities for prospective targets.
• Support development of post-close revenue and EBITDA targets based on diligence findings.
• Assist with due diligence by organizing and reconciling materials and confirming accounting support.
• Identify unusual items and investigate them prior to quality of earnings review.
• Participate in calls with external consultants on quality of earnings and share findings with stakeholders.
• Help enhance the Acquisitions and Integrations Playbook with observed improvements.
• Assist with opening balance sheets with fair value measurements and purchase price allocations.
