Job summary

West Monroe is seeking a Director to lead Healthcare & Life Sciences Value Creation in its M&A practice. You will act as an executive client lead, guiding complex transactions and value-creation initiatives across healthcare services, IT, payer, provider, and life sciences sectors.

You will bring deep M&A experience, Revenue Cycle Management expertise, and a proven ability to develop relationships with private equity and corporate clients while driving growth and thought leadership.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of healthcare consulting or related leadership experience.
• Experience leading healthcare M&A engagements and due diligence.
• Expertise in Revenue Cycle Management and healthcare operations.
• Proven ability to build executive relationships and originate opportunities.
• Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Serve as executive client lead for healthcare M&A engagements.
• Lead buy-side and sell-side due diligence, mergers, carve-outs, integration planning, and post-close value creation.
• Assess operating models, technology capabilities, KPIs, and financial performance against best practices.
• Lead engagement teams through diligence planning, interviews, hypotheses, and final deliverables.
• Advise clients on post-close transformation, integration planning, and execution strategies.
• Translate complex findings into clear recommendations for executives and investors.
• Drive business development by originating opportunities and shaping proposals.
• Partner with leadership to evolve West Monroe's healthcare M&A offerings.
• Coach and mentor senior managers and consultants; foster collaboration.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate analysis and insights while ensuring accuracy.
