Job summary

IES is seeking a Crew Lead – Healthcare Services to act as an on-site coordinator and crew supervisor for hospital and healthcare facility projects. You will oversee the installation, service, testing, and maintenance of structured cabling and related systems while ensuring safety and patient-care continuity.

Responsibilities include coordinating daily field activities, supervising technicians, and serving as the main point of contact for customers and project leadership.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in telecommunications, structured cabling, low-voltage, or a related technical field.
• Experience reading blueprints, construction drawings, and project documentation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights in hospital environments.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise daily work activities for hospital crews.
• Oversee installation, modification, and service of low-voltage and structured cabling systems, including copper and fiber.
• Review work orders, drawings, specifications, and project requirements for accuracy.
• Perform and oversee cable installation, termination, testing, certification, labeling, and cable management.
• Coordinate equipment and material deliveries and serve as the primary field contact for customers and hospital staff.
• Ensure safety protocols, PPE, infection-control, and work-area requirements are followed.
