Job description

Lead the crew. Build critical infrastructure. Make an impact where it matters.

We’re looking for an experienced Crew Lead to oversee low-voltage and structured cabling work in hospitals and healthcare facilities. You’ll lead technicians in the field, coordinate daily work, and serve as a key point of contact for customers and project leadership.

Because you’ll be working in active healthcare environments, this role requires strong technical skills, leadership, professionalism, and an understanding of how to complete quality work while minimizing disruption to patients and hospital staff.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead and coordinate daily activities for field crews
  • Oversee installation, termination, testing, labeling, and certification of copper and fiber structured cabling
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, and work orders
  • Coordinate materials, schedules, and field activities to keep projects moving
  • Serve as a field point of contact for customers, hospital representatives, PMs, and other trades
  • Troubleshoot cabling and connectivity issues and support technicians in the field
  • Monitor safety, quality, productivity, and project schedules
  • Ensure crews follow hospital PPE, infection-control, access, and work-area requirements
  • Maintain clean, organized work areas and minimize disruption to hospital operations
  • Provide project updates and communicate issues, delays, and material needs to leadership
  • Train and mentor technicians and less-experienced crew members
  • Support punch lists, closeout, documentation, and customer turnover
What You Bring
  • 3+ years of experience in telecommunications, structured cabling, low-voltage, or a related technical field
  • 6+ months of lead or supervisory experience preferred
  • Hands-on experience terminating and testing copper and fiber
  • Ability to read construction drawings, blueprints, and project documentation
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, organization, and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently while leading others and keeping projects on track
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Healthcare, hospital, medical facility, or occupied commercial experience is a plus
  • BICSI, fiber, low-voltage, or other relevant certifications are a plus
The Environment

This is a hands-on field leadership role. You should be comfortable working in active healthcare facilities, around other trades, at heights and on ladders, and in confined spaces. The role may require lifting up to 50 lbs. and moving up to 75 lbs.

If you’re ready to take the next step from technician to field leadership- or bring your existing crew leadership experience into a growing healthcare-focused team- we’d love to hear from you.
