Job summary

Yale NewHaven Health is seeking a Logistics Associate to perform a wide range of tasks across the campus area in support of patient care. Responsibilities include delivering and retrieving equipment, supplies, specimens, and other items, using dispatcher systems, and maintaining storage areas.

The role requires effective communication with customer departments and the ability to follow procedures and operate handling equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year hospital supply operations experience preferred.
• Strong reading, writing and basic math skills.
• Ability to read, write, understand and follow instructions and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Delivers and retrieves equipment, supplies, and specimens per dispatch systems and SLA.
• Maintains designated storage areas for equipment and supplies and assists in repairs.
• Operates equipment and uses department information systems to track requests.
• Receives goods, processes deliveries, and participates in inventory and receiving duties.
