Job summary

Yale NewHaven Health—St. Raphael Campus seeks a Materials Handler to support patient care by delivering and stocking supplies and equipment. You will use handheld devices to track inventory, coordinate dispatches, and collaborate with Patient Services Managers and Materials staff to ensure timely delivery of goods.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, working as part of a team in a hospital setting, and maintaining accurate records in our inventory systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1-2 years of materials/supply handling experience preferred.
• Experience in a patient care unit or hospital supply environment is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Delivers and retrieves equipment and supplies to patient care areas.
• Maintains designated storage areas for equipment and supplies.
• Operates the Service Response Center systems and dispatches work requests.
• Assists in annual inventory and helps with counting cycles.
