Job summary

Kansas Health System is seeking a Specialist, Distribution and Logistics at Olathe Hospital. The role covers receiving, storing, picking, packing, shipping, staging, and put-away, ensuring smooth flow from request to delivery for internal and external customers.

Responsibilities include following SOPs, conducting quality checks, and coaching teammates, with emphasis on safety, LEAN, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of related experience in a fast-paced environment (customer service or distribution).
• 3+ years LEAN experience preferred.
• 3+ years of healthcare experience preferred.
• Valid, unrestricted driver’s license; Kansas Class C or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs to process orders including creating, picking, packing and delivering orders.
• Ensure efficient flow from receipt to delivery to internal and external customers.
• Coach and provide feedback to teammates in training.
• Maintain a clean work environment and comply with safety and LEAN requirements.
• Perform duties and participate in projects as assigned by management.
• Work overtime as necessary due to business needs.
