Job summary

University of Kansas Medical Center in Olathe is seeking a Specialist, Distribution and Logistics to oversee receipt, storage and shipment of products at the local hospital site. You will follow SOPs for orders, perform quality checks, and ensure accurate picking, packing and delivery to internal and external customers.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED with 2+ years in a fast-paced environment, preferably with Lean and healthcare experience.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED is required.
2+ years of related experience in a fast-paced environment (customer service or distribution).
LEAN experience is preferred.
Healthcare environment experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Process orders using SOPs: creating, picking, packing, receiving, put-away, and preparing for delivery.
Ensure efficient flow of products from receipt to delivery for internal and external customers.
Provide coaching and feedback to teammates in training.
Maintain safety, regulatory and LEAN compliance; housekeeping and inventory control.
Perform other duties or projects as assigned by management.
Possess initiative and ability to work in a team with minimal supervision.
Overtime may be required to meet business needs.
