Job summary

Augusta Health is seeking a Performance Improvement Coach to lead Lean/Six Sigma initiatives and drive cross‑departmental process improvements. You will work with the Director of Project and Performance Management to design and implement optimization efforts that improve operational efficiency and patient outcomes in a hospital setting.

The role includes facilitating both traditional waterfall and Agile project approaches, tracking KPIs, and ensuring sustained benefits across departments.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.
• Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt certification in first year.
• Two+ years of Lean, Continuous Improvement, or Process Excellence Practitioner.
• Eligibility to work in the United States and meet Virginia state employment requirements.

Responsibilities

• Leads assigned process improvement events using Lean methods and data analysis.
• Coordinates event Charters and scheduling of improvement events.
• Develops reports of Continuous Improvement activities and KPI tracking.
• Keeps improvement initiatives sustained by monitoring progress and benefits.
