Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an Administrative Intern to support diverse healthcare projects across multiple departments. The role is on-site in the Rock Hill area with a 40-hour workweek during May 31, 2027 to August 6, 2027.

The intern will gain exposure to operations, strategy, and program development while collaborating with physicians and staff. Applicants should be enrolled in a relevant degree program with a minimum 2.5 GPA, strong communication, and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Healthcare Leadership, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Management, Nonprofit Management, Data Analytics, or related field with freshman, sophomore, junior or senior standing as of Fall 2027.
• GPA at least 2.5.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing a diverse portfolio of healthcare projects.
• Join rotation and identify resources to accomplish goals.
• Develop healthcare management skills with clinicians and staff.
• Describe and integrate department functions supporting Advocate Health's vision.
• Seek process improvements and apply data-driven methods.
• Meet with leadership to discuss progress and fellowship.
• Support system strategic planning and program development.
• Assist in managing databases and inputs information.
• Prepare information and research materials; create presentations.
