Job summary

Advocate Health offers an Administrative Internship for graduate students pursuing a Healthcare Administration degree. Interns may rotate across site and system Administration or Operations departments, gaining hands-on experience in project management, strategy, and program development.

Responsibilities include supporting diverse projects, collaborating with physicians and staff, and contributing to process improvements.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment with graduate status in a CAHME-accredited program.
• Interns must be in the process of obtaining a graduate degree.
• GPA of at least 2.5.
• Strong communication, attention to detail, teamwork, and prioritization.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing a diverse portfolio of healthcare projects and contribute to progress and outcomes.
• Be part of the work unit team and carry out assigned tasks within rotation.
• Identify and use internal and external resources to achieve goals.
• Provide insights on current trends to stimulate ideas and improvements.
• Help develop healthcare management skills across units.
