Job summary

Advocate Health Care is offering an Administrative/Operational Intern position based in the Rock Hill area. The internship runs May 31, 2027, through August 6, 2027, with up to 40 hours per week during regular business hours on-site.

Interns will assist with a variety of system administration and operations projects to align business objectives with management and clinical teams. Interns will gain exposure to multiple departments and strategic planning processes, while developing skills in data

Qualifications

• Current undergraduate standing (freshman–senior) as of Fall 2027.
• Pursuing a degree in Healthcare Leadership, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Management, Nonprofit Management, Data Analytics, or related field.
• GPA 2.5 or higher.

Responsibilities

• Assist with managing a diverse portfolio of healthcare projects and contribute to project progress.
• Join a work unit team to perform assigned tasks within the rotation.
• Identify internal/external resources to achieve goals and support stakeholders.
• Provide information and perspectives on current trends to stimulate ideas and improvements.
• Develop healthcare management skills across departments within Advocate Health.
• Collaborate with physicians, admins, and allied health staff throughout the system.
• Support development of program offerings and data collection efforts.
