Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a reliable Laundry Worker to support a long-term care facility. You will manage linens, clothing, and related items to ensure cleanliness and availability for residents and staff.

Responsibilities include operating laundry equipment safely, maintaining records, reporting maintenance or safety issues, and providing courteous service to residents, staff and guests. HS diploma preferred; must lift 50 pounds and reside within the service area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous laundry experience preferred but not required.
• Positive attitude and effective communication with staff and residents.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Lift/carry up to 50 pounds, stand and walk for extended periods.
• Able to work around cleaning products and follow written instructions.
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of laundry activities and report maintenance or safety issues.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, delivering courteous service.
• All other duties as assigned.
