Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is hiring a Laundry Worker to ensure linens and garments are clean, available, and properly distributed in a long-term care facility. You will operate laundry equipment safely, maintain records, and uphold infection control policies while delivering excellent service to residents and staff.

The role requires a positive attitude, strong communication, and physical stamina to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous laundry experience is preferred but not required.
• Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with residents, staff, and leadership.
• Must comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Must lift/carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of laundry activities and report maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
