Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a dedicated Laundry Worker to maintain linens and garments for a long-term care facility. You will operate laundry equipment and ensure timely distribution of clean items to residents and staff.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, good physical stamina, and the ability to follow safety protocols and infection control standards while delivering excellent service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous laundry experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to work around cleaning products and follow safety rules.
• Residency within service area required.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of laundry activities and report maintenance issues.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests.
• All other duties as assigned.
