Job summary

Join Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) as a Laundry Worker, responsible for cleaning, sorting, and distributing linens in a long-term care facility. You will help keep residents comfortable and operations smooth by ensuring supplies are available and garments are clean.

This role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for extended periods, and following infection control guidelines. Previous laundry experience is preferred but not required; a positive attitude and good communication with

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous laundry experience is preferred but not required.
• Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership to perform daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of laundry activities and report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
