The New Hampshire Veterans Home in Tilton, NH is seeking a part-time Laundry Worker for 1st shift. The role performs varied laundry duties within a healthcare setting, overseeing the laundry area to meet daily productivity and quality standards.

Responsibilities include sorting, washing, drying and delivering laundry, following infection control policies, and ensuring a sanitary environment. 8th grade education is required, with preferred experience in laundry operations.

Formación

• MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education/Experience: 8th grade education.
• No license or certification required.
• Preferred: experience in a commercial or institutional laundry.

Responsabilidades

• Collects, sorts, and loads soiled linen and garments into washer(s) and loads items into the dryer(s).
• Washes contaminated laundry using proper methods and maintains sanitation.
• Follows infection control procedures and safety guidelines in all tasks.
• Operates a variety of laundry machines and related tools and reports malfunctions.
• Lifts up to 80 pounds frequently and up to 25 pounds continuously.
