Job summary

NHC HealthCare Dickson is looking for a dependable Part-Time Laundry team member to contribute to a clean environment for patients and residents. You will be responsible for processing linens and personal items efficiently and maintain laundry equipment and cleanliness.

Your role includes sorting, washing, drying, and distributing laundry while following safety and sanitation procedures. The position offers competitive pay, health insurance, and various benefits.

Qualifications

• Dependable and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to follow safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures.
• Previous laundry, housekeeping, or health care experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and clothing according to established procedures.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and appropriately.
• Maintain separation of clean and soiled items.
• Label, organize, and return patient and resident personal clothing as required.
• Maintain a clean and orderly laundry area.
• Monitor supplies and report equipment or supply needs.
• Follow infection control, safety, sanitation, and NHC procedures.
• Assist with additional environmental-services duties as assigned.
