Baystate Health is seeking a part-time Utility Aide in Springfield, MA to support the Food and Nutrition team. You will disassemble patient meal trays, deliver and retrieve carts, operate the dish room, and maintain cleanliness and safety across production areas.

The role requires at least a high school level diploma and 2 years experience in healthcare or hospitality settings. ServSafe certification is preferred. The position offers day shifts, weekend rotation, and competitive benefits.

Formación

• High School Diploma, GED, or Hi-Set.
• 2 years experience in a healthcare, restaurant or other hospitality setting.
• ServSafe Food Handlers Certification (preferred)

Responsabilidades

• Deliver carts containing assembled meal trays to hospital units and retrieve carts with soiled trays.
• Complete dish room functions including tray assembly and loading/unloading the dishwasher.
• Maintain food safety standards with proper handwashing, hygiene, glove use, and temperature control.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and surfaces.
• Follow sanitation and quality procedures per HACCP and Joint Commission requirements.
• Work as part of a team to ensure efficient kitchen operations and high-quality service.
