The Alden Network in Bloomingdale, IL is seeking a Dietary Aide to prepare and serve meals for residents in a 16-person Intermediate Care Facility, following federal, state, local standards and facility policies.

You will supervise food production and presentation, maintain portion control, and assist in menu review with the Corporate Dietitian. Qualifications include one year dietary experience preferred, ability to read/write English, and adherence to safety and hygiene practices.

Formación

• One (1) year dietary experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or related medical facility preferred
• Must be knowledgeable of dietary procedures
• Must be able to follow oral and written instructions
• Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language in an understandable manner

Responsabilidades

• Complies with established departmental policy & procedures and governmental regulations
• Review menu extensions prior to preparation of foods
• Prepare meals in accordance with planned menus, including therapeutic provisions
• Prepare and serve meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearance
• Serve food in accordance with established portion control procedures
• Dates, labels, & stores food properly
