Lemontree Healthcare is hiring a Cook for St Joseph Medical Center in Houston, TX. The shift runs 6:00am-2:30pm, Monday-Friday with every other weekend, and is a full-time position.

A minimum of 1 year of scratch cook experience and strong food-safety knowledge are strongly preferred. You will prepare meals per recipes, assist with plating and labeling, and work with the kitchen team to meet dietary guidelines for patients and staff.

Qualifications

• Healthcare/institutional cooking experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of scratch cook experience preferred.
• Strong food safety and sanitation knowledge.
• Ability to follow recipes and meal plans accurately.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to standardized recipes ensuring quality and dietary requirements.
• Assist with meal plating and presentation for patients and staff.
• Inventory food items and manage labeling within timeframes.
• Maintain HACCP-based safety and sanitation standards in the kitchen.
• Communicate kitchen needs and patient feedback to management.
