Lemontree Healthcare's St Joseph Medical Center in Houston seeks a Food Service Worker to join the cafeteria team. This full-time role involves food prep, serving, cleaning, and assisting in kitchen operations from 7:00am–7:00pm. The position pays $12.00–$13.00 per hour and includes benefits; schedule is Monday–Friday with every other weekend.

Applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED, be able to handle food safety procedures, and deliver friendly customer service in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Delivers superb customer service.
• Adheres to hospital policies.
• Cleans and stocks the cafeteria/retail area as needed.
• Speaks with customers to get feedback on meals.
• Returns soiled dishes to the dish room.
• Keeps work area clean.
• Assists in kitchen operations during downtime.
• Operates the POS to check out guests.
• Maintains professional time management.
• Follows department dress code and appearance policy.
