• Ability to read/write English and follow instructions.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and cook food in a health care facility following standard procedures.
• Check diet lists to determine types/quantities of foods to prepare.
• Maintain correct temperatures and portioning of foods.
• Utilize kitchen equipment (blenders, mixers, kettles, ovens).
• Inspect foods for safety and sanitation; direct dietary aides as needed.
• Participate in daily menu conferences with supervisors.
