Family Health Centers of San Diego is seeking an IT Training Specialist to train end users across the organization on IT and Enterprise System concepts. The role involves developing training materials, delivering sessions, and ensuring accurate documentation and QA.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years in information systems and end user support, a bachelor’s degree in a related field, and strong communication skills, with a preference for bilingual English/Spanish.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in information systems and end user assistance.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Equivalent mix of education and experience meeting job duties.
• Must have a car and CA driver’s license with valid insurance.
• Travel between sites is an essential function of the job.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.
• Strong ability to explain computer concepts to users with varying tech skills.
• Knowledge of adult education techniques and health IT technologies.

Responsibilities

• Assesses learner performance and competence; communicates with software developers for improvement.
• Completes required documentation and records accurately and on time; performs QA as assigned.
• Develops training materials and programs; designs course materials and delivery methods.
• Establishes schedules and delivers training to meet learner needs.
• Provides technical assistance as needed and trains end users in IT/Enterprise System subjects.
• Train users in proper use of FHCSD software/IT infrastructure and related data.
