Job summary

Nationwide-Children is seeking a systems analyst to analyze business needs, define requirements, develop solutions, and support complex healthcare systems across departments. The role requires hands-on data work, test script creation, and after-hours on-call support.

You will document designs, ensure data integrity, coordinate user acceptance testing, and help plan disaster recovery. The team collaborates to integrate new systems and upgrade software, driving reliability and efficiency

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, required.
• ITIL certification or training, preferred.
• Strong SQL, relational databases, reporting tools, and MS Excel skills.
• Advanced MS Office knowledge: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail and problem solving.
• Ability to learn new applications quickly.
• Visionary with capacity to see larger picture.
• 5 years IT support experience; healthcare experience preferred.
• Business and financial experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business needs and define requirements for systems across departments.
• Manipulate and analyze large datasets.
• Create and maintain test scripts for systems, reports, and interfaces.
• Test and debug systems; coordinate user acceptance testing.
• Document system design, testing, and maintenance procedures.
• Maintain disaster recovery plans and data integrity for assigned systems.
• Collaborate with IT to integrate new systems with existing ones.
• Execute system updates, patches, and upgrades.
• Evaluate new technologies to improve efficiency and performance.
