Job summary

Montrose Regional Health is seeking a IT Services leader to assist the IS Director in supervising daily operations of the Service Desk and related IT projects. You will coordinate the Technical Support Analyst team to provide excellent support to staff and patients while driving infrastructure improvements.

The role emphasizes ITIL-based service management, HIPAA/HITECH compliance, and EMR/HIE familiarity within a healthcare setting. On-site Montrose, CO position with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• A minimum of high school graduate or equivalent is required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred if possible.
• At least 4 years of working knowledge of computers, desktops and networks with a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role, preferably in a healthcare environment.
• Proven experience in supervising a team or delivering IT projects.
• Knowledge of ITIL best practices for service desk management and IT project management methodologies.
• Understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements, including HIPAA and HITECH.
• Experience with EMRs and healthcare information exchange (HIE) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the IS Director in supervising day‑to‑day operations of the Service Desk and Projects.
• Oversee and coordinate the Service Desk Technical Support Analyst team to deliver excellent customer service and IT support to staff and patients.
• Lead and deliver IT projects to improve the hospital's technology infrastructure.
